Send an emailLocation and camera
The app can run without these permissions, although some features will be limited. You can grant or withdraw them in Android Settings → Apps → Fuentes de Madrid → Permissions.
Fountain data
The base information comes from Madrid City Council's open data and may take time to reflect real-world changes. Community ratings and reports are shown separately.
Data deletion
Fuentes de Madrid, developed by Iván Ramírez, does not use user accounts. You can directly delete the data associated with your installation:
- Open Fuentes de Madrid.
- Go to Settings → Data.
- Tap Delete my data and confirm.
The app securely sends its internal identifier to the service to locate and delete the data. You do not need to know or disclose that identifier.
Data that is deleted
All ratings and broken-fountain reports associated with that installation are removed from the active database. Favorites, settings, your local ratings, saved locations, recent route and other app data are removed from the device. Active deletion is immediate.
Data that may be retained temporarily
Technical backups managed by the infrastructure provider may retain the deleted record for up to 30 days before being overwritten. It will not be used or republished during that period. Favorites, settings and other local information remain only on the device and are removed by the same action in Settings → Data; they can also be removed by clearing the app's data or uninstalling it.
